There is evidence of minor oil leaks from the engine and gearbox as well a small amount of power steering fluid, and the exhaust is hanging a bit low and scrapes on some speed bumps.

The interior is in good condition and benefits from a number of upgrades including modern seats on the original seat tracks, a wood rimmed steering wheel, and new carpet, headliner, door seals, dash pad cover and rear package tray.
1963 DODGE DART LICENSE
The car wears a black California “year of manufacture” license plate which will be included with the car. The front and rear bumpers have been rechromed and a new windshield with fresh seals was recently installed. Surface rust is visible below the rear bumper and in several areas along the lower driver’s side of the car.

The paint shows its age with a number of flaws visible in the gallery photos but still presents well overall.

The exterior retains a stock aesthetic with the original exterior trim intact. The car is said to be a well sorted driver great for a relaxed summer cruise, and with the performance upgrades it’s more than capable of keeping up at a fast paced road rally. The interior has been enhanced with a number of replacement parts and modern creature comforts, and the exterior is in fair condition with a nice patina on the older paint job. The 225ci slant 6 was recently rebuilt and has a performance camshaft, 4-barrel Holley carburetor, and aftermarket exhaust. This 1963 Dodge Dart GT has been upgraded and modified for use in road rallies and is a veteran of the 2015 California Melee.
